An All Body Workout With Tracy Anderson
Author: Tracy Anderson Studios
Tracy Anderson, a former dancer turned fitness instructor, has developed her own unique and innovative training regime, offered in her LA studio. This regime primarily works the accessory muscles, which helps men to achieve a toned and ripped physique and provides women the tiny and well toned look of a professional dancer.
The Tracy Anderson Method can be successfully applied to people of any size and exercise background. A full body workout plan is tailored to meet her client’s needs and includes virtually an entire lifestyle makeover that is essential to get the body you dreamed of. Exercises are regularly changed so that the body continues to reap the rewards of your hard work.
Because Tracy was unable to find the equipment or exercise regimes that she needed for her own workout, she set to work creating the Hybrid Body Reformer, which is a unique piece of exercise equipment that can be used to exercise every single muscle in a whole range of directions, ways, and routines.

With so many different workout plans and exercise techniques available, it can be difficult to know exactly where to start and which one is best for you. The truth, though, is that virtually all of these techniques concentrate on a single group, or small number of groups, of muscles. Doing so can cause a number of problems.
Concentrating on just one area of the body means that a person’s physique can become disproportionate, but the body also becomes accustomed or bored of performing the same exercises and this makes those exercises less effective. Even full body workouts can become too routine to have the greatest impact on the shape of your body.
A major part of the Tracy Anderson Method is in the routine changing of exercise types and programs that are used. This prevents the body from becoming too accustomed to a particular set of exercises and, as a result, the exercises continue to tone the body effectively and routinely.

At the age of 18, Tracy Anderson moved to NYC to become a dancer. She gained a lot of weight, but had to lose it in order to have a career. She attempted many exercise regimens, but none of them worked for her. That’s when she decided to develop her own workout, and ultimately transformed her whole body.
Tracy has taken her distinctive workout and body changing methods and created her own studio. She developed a unique machine that can only be found at Tracy Anderson Studio in Los Angeles. This 600-pound machine is called the Hybrid Body Reformer. It has an elaborate spring and pulley system that allows your muscles to be worked on from an infinite number of angles. Tracy has created over 2,800 moves on this machine—all designed to elongate your muscles as you imitate dance moves.
Through Tracy’s experience, she found that most exercise programs overwork the major muscle groups, which is what builds muscle bulk. Her method is targeting the accessory muscles, which are the small muscle groups. This gives a woman a small dance body and gives a man a thin ripped body. Tracy has tested this method for over seven years and has achieved great success. She can take anyone with any genetic background and give them a thin, long, lean body.
Since everyone’s body is unique, Tracy gives each client a customized workout. This lets each client get a workout routine that targets their specific problem areas. Every ten workouts, Tracy changes the routine to ensure the muscle groups are targeted at many angles. This helps prevent one from overusing the same muscles.
You can find Tracy’s Dance Aerobics DVD exclusively on her website. It will help you achieve your dream body through a cardio-dance workout. The DVD contains 2 hours of detailed instructionals and 45 minutes of fun dance aerobics.
