With so many different workout plans and exercise techniques available, it can be difficult to know exactly where to start and which one is best for you. The truth, though, is that virtually all of these techniques concentrate on a single group, or small number of groups, of muscles. Doing so can cause a number of problems.

Concentrating on just one area of the body means that a person’s physique can become disproportionate, but the body also becomes accustomed or bored of performing the same exercises and this makes those exercises less effective. Even full body workouts can become too routine to have the greatest impact on the shape of your body.

A major part of the Tracy Anderson Method is in the routine changing of exercise types and programs that are used. This prevents the body from becoming too accustomed to a particular set of exercises and, as a result, the exercises continue to tone the body effectively and routinely.
